About Our Multiple Award-Winning Studio
The Music Studio Atlanta opened in 2011 as a division of the Courtnay and Rowe In-Home Music Academy. Growing year after year, we carry forward a 30 year tradition of quality music lessons for thousands of Atlanta students of all ages.
The Music Studio Atlanta is more than a place to take music lessons; it's where students gain confidence, creativity, and a lasting love of music.
What began as a family-run studio has evolved into one of the largest and most trusted places for music lessons in Atlanta, serving over 1400 students each week in a fun, warm, and encouraging environment.
We’ve had the joy of watching our students grow and succeed throughout their musical journeys. Our goal is simple: every student should leave with stronger self expression, steady musical progress, and a deep sense of pride in what they accomplish.
The Music Studio Atlanta was built by music lovers who believe music plays a meaningful role in personal growth at any age. Our hope is that every student who walks through our doors discovers joy and a lifelong connection to music.
We see music lessons as more than learning notes and technique. They build resilience, pride, discipline, and the satisfaction that comes from real progress. When students feel confident, they practice more. And consistent practice changes what they believe they’re capable of.
We care deeply how it feels to learn here with us. Families are fitting music into full schedules, and that time should feel organized, encouraging, and worthwhile. We pay attention to the details so lessons run smoothly and communication stays clear.
You’ll see it in our well-kept studios, in teachers who are warm and prepared, and in the way we interact with families each day. The atmosphere is welcoming, steady, and focused on growth.
That consistency is part of why families across the Atlanta area have trusted The Music Studio Atlanta for more than 30 years.
As our director, Cecilia Rowe says, “Our goal is to see our students take pride in themselves and their personal progress. Happy students will practice and perform, personally grow with confidence, and forever enjoy the art of making music. Everything we do is focused on student growth—musically and personally. We find it beautiful hearing from our former students that they’ve taken their instrument to college, are singing with their children, or are still playing music for their own enjoyment!”
We’ve seen firsthand that our lessons have affected human lives for the better.
“Music is a great confidence builder and opportunity for self-expression. The teacher of my 8-year-old granddaughter is patient and helps children set clear goals for learning to play piano. Love this business model.” Sherry Scoggins, review from Google
