Getting ready for All State can be tough. There are specific requirements to meet. It’s so helpful to have someone to coach you through it all! Like the late clarinetist Kalmen Opperman said “Practice and hope, but never hope more than you practice.” At The Music Studio Atlanta, we are happy to help you practice effectively, prepare mentally, and also help with research to game plan your success.
Music lessons and continuing to study music competitively through high school not only enhance musical skills but can also be a strategic advantage for college applications. Discover how they can give your child a leg up in our blog post: How to Use Music Lessons to Give Your Child a Leg Up on College Applications.
Or maybe your child is trying out for the first time for a role in the school play, and want to make sure and put his best foot forward for the audition. We can help you be at your best with audition prep lessons! Auditions can unhinge all but the most seasoned actor or musician, but you can improve your student’s chances by being prepared. Some of the things that we would coach our student on:
Audition prep is a great compliment to voice lessons or prep for school play tryouts, All-State, musicals and college scholarships. We can cut full songs into 16- or 30-measure pieces for each audition and provide backing tracks if needed. Our one-hour audition prep sessions can be scheduled as many times per week or month as desired.
Parents play a crucial role in supporting their child's musical journey. Learn how you can make a positive impact in our blog: Your Role in Music Lessons.
