"I’m an old man who finally had time to learn a music instrument. I got a free lesson at the Music Studio, so I signed up. I was nervous when I walked in because everyone taking lessons was the age of my grand kids. This turned out to be the best thing that happened to me in a long time. Everyone was very encouraging. "I have attended TMS for 5 years and had the pleasure of having Kasey as my piano teacher. As an adult student who never played an instrument before coming to the studio, I require a lot of patience. Throughout the last few years- as a healthcare worked during a pandemic, pregnancy and becoming a new Mom, Kasey adjusted her teaching style, my lesson plans and schedules to my changing life/needs. When I began having new Mom brain and would forget my song in the middle of playing she never judged yet gently encouraged me to keep going. She always helped me add my style to recital pieces.
