Join our all-new Group Chorus

Led by the incredible Ms. Alex, the TMSA Chorus offers an amazing opportunity for students who have a passion for singing and a desire to showcase their musical abilities! Chorus helps singers learn proper singing techniques, explore basic sight-reading skills, and enjoy the thrill of performing as part of a group.

Youth and Adult Ensembles

We host both Youth and Adult Ensembles, welcoming singers of all ages. Our chorus sings songs with 1 to 4 vocal parts, allowing students to engage in choral singing and harmonize with those around them. This is a wonderful way to develop vocal skills while building friendships and a sense of community.

Auditions and Skill Development:

Each student will "audition" prior to the class start, allowing the director to assess skill levels and group students appropriately by vocal part—whether that's Soprano, Alto, Tenor, or Bass. This ensures that each participant is placed where they can thrive and contribute to the ensemble.

Performance Opportunties

Rehearsals lead up to exciting performance opportunities at our Open Mics or Recitals. Performing as part of an ensemble is a powerful experience that boosts confidence and enhances musical expression. Goals of Chorus

1. To provide more opportunities for students who are interested in vocal performances.
2. To provide a fun and safe place for student to socialize, learn, and sing confidently with one another.
3. To prepare an exciting repertoire to perform at a Recital, Concert Series, and/or Open Mic.

Alexandrea is an Atlanta, GA native with more than 15 years of performing and recording experience in the music industry.  It was at the age of 5 when her gift for singing was discovered by her parents and at the age of 6 when she began her professional performing and recording career. Alexandrea's first television appearance was on the legendary Showtime at the Apollo when she was 7 years old. By age 13, Alexandrea had already performed all over the nation and worked with (and performed for) prominent names in the industry.

Alexandrea later went on to become a finalist on American Idol at age 17. Since then, she has earned a BA in Music from Agnes Scott College & has put her stamp in the Atlanta music scene as an indie artist, songwriter, and artist developer. She has been teaching voice and piano for more than 12 years and has been apart of the TMSA family since 2022!
